The Kentucky governor’s race is one of three gubernatorial contests that can serve as key checks of Republican energy forward of the 2020 presidential election. President Trump campaigned there Monday for the incumbent, Matt Bevin, who’s facing a really tight race on Tuesday in opposition to Democrat Andy Beshear, the state’s legal professional general.
